Presentation by Robotics Experts

Eight graders of Little Angels’ School took a class conducted by Indian robotics experts.  The presentation was given by Regional Director of Brainwaves for India Mayank Gupta and Regional Director for Nepal Renish Rauniyar they were taught how to make robots to introduce them to the world of science and technology. 300 students were engaged in making robots by using given devices, wire and other equipments. An interactive and practical session the students were engrossed and excited about the workshop.This workshop  calls out the creativity of students and is a great source of inspiration.

Students’ Quality Circle

The theme of the  13th NCSQC 2017 was “Exploring the source, shaping the future creatively.” The 13th National Convention on Students’ Quality Circle was conducted from the 16th – 18th November, 2017 at Monastic School, Janakpur Dham promoting Quality Education by bringing students from all over Nepal and Quality leaders together under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Dinesh  Chapagain. Nearly one thousand students from different parts of Nepal participated and got an opportunity to share and learn many life skills.Quality Quiz, Collaborative Collage and SQC Quad Champs were organised. The Little Angels’ School “Maveriks” also presented a case study on the topic, “Memorizing over Understanding.”  The Maveriks had shown an outstanding performance in the case study presentation. Two members of the Maveriks Miss Sankriti Poudel and Kritika Udas were able to achieve 2nd position in the Quad Champs organized by Monastic School. The convention played an effective role to bring students from different cultures and different parts of the country under one roof to discuss about Quality, develop possible strategies to make smart global citizens.

LAS Hostel Cultural Night

LAS Hostel Cultural Night was celebrated with a medley of performances that ranged from dances, musical performances, a lucky draw and giving away of the gift hampers followed by a special dinner. All the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Sharing in the mood of fun and festivity were Founder Chairman, Mr. Umesh Shrestha, Founder Director, Mrs. Bidya Limbu, Chairman of the School Management Committee, Lt. General Phatteh Bdr Limbu, Finance Director, Mr. Rajesh Shrestha, Corporate Director, Ms. Shristi Limbu Sherpa, Principal, Mr. Mukunda Raj Sharma, Principal, LACM, Mr, Mitra Bandhu Poudel, Vice Principals, all Hostel Wardens and members of the LAS fraternity.

The festive highlight of the year

The most joyful and the much loved festivity of Dashain was celebrated with the Pre Dashain Celebration, ushering the festive season on a wonderful note. LAS Primary Wings celebrated the occasion with great excitement and everybody was delighted to receive tika and blessings from the Founder Director,Mrs. Bidya Limbu and dignitaries of LA.
